Summary

Description
English: This image shows a SIR2 homodimer (green) in complex with the C-terminus of SIR4 (purple) via SIR4's SIR2-interacting domain (SID; yellow). SIR2 does not require interaction with SIR4 to fulfill its catalytic duties, but SIR2's catalytic activity is enhanced when in complex with SIR4.
