English: I bought the Eye-Fi wireless SDHC card for my little camera-- it can transfer photos through wireless to your computer and/or to photo sharing services, but is also supposed to geotag the photos... until I found out the geotagging is based on signals from wireless networks in the Skyhook Network-- where the Arizona coverage is very thin.
FAIL one. But when I ordered it I thought I might try using it in my Canon Digital Rebel, which uses a compact Flash card, so I got this nifty helper adapter (SDHC to CF2) from Amazon.... and the camera wont recognize the card-- oh no, does not the old Rebel recognize CompactFlash II? (need to find my manual) FAIL two. By the way, those are crumbs for scale ;-) |
