Summary

Description
English: Example of ROV dive image annotation for science purposes. Per keyboard command of the scientist, the image annotation software grabs the latest image from the ROV camera (A), and combines it with the latest position from the acoustic positioning system (B). The scientist then either types in a comment (C) or uses audio annotation to describe the image or event. This example is from a dive of the SCINI ROV at Cape Armitage, Antarctica.
