Summary

Description

A new baseplate still in use today went on the vehicles of Saskatchewan in 1977. Saskatchewan also adopted the staggered registration system so a month sticker was also issued in 1977. The date "77" was printed onto the plate to be covered up by stickers to follow.

Note that the next picture in my Saskatchewan set will show a trailer plate with a "77" sticker placed over top the "77" on an already dated plate.
