English: Rudchester Hall. I hope the owners will forgive me for snatching a picture of this very beautiful Georgian house over their garden gate! The history of building on this site goes back much further than the 18th century, however, as the buried foundations of Vindobala Roman Fort lie a few hundred yards away.
