Description
English: Deputy Assistant to the President and Director, Office of Intergovernmental Affairs Prior to joining the President's staff, Ruben Barrales he was President and CEO of Joint Venture: Silicon Valley Network, a regional civic organization of Silicon Valley business executives, government officials, and educational leaders. Previously, Ruben served on the San Mateo County (California) Board of Supervisors, becoming President of the Board in 1996. He has served on various statewide commissions, including the California Speaker's Commission on State and Local Government Finance. Ruben is a graduate of the University of California, Riverside.
