Description
English: The Royal Opera of Wallonia (Opéra royal de Wallonie) is an opera company in the city of Liège, Belgium. It is one of the four opera houses in Belgium with a Munt / La Monnaie), Gant and Antwerp (Der Vlaamse Opera). Founded in 1967, the company and ballet of the same name are based at the Théâtre Royal de Liège, inaugurated in 1820, in Neoclassical style. It remained closed during World War I. The auditorium has a capacity for 1033 spectators.
