The ridge on the spoon is drawn with 2 gradients.

1. url(#ridgeGradient) A linear gradient to draw the ridge. The stops at 0% and 100% are the same color as the background. At 45% and 55% the colors are one of a higher and lower lightness respectfully.
2. url(#fadeRidgeGradient) A radial gradient to fade gradient 1. It fades from transparent to the same color as the background.

Using transform="rotate(9) translate(117, 41)" (same as the ridge.)

Using transform="rotate(-4) translate(300, 135)" . Origin in the center of the blade. Vertical aligned with right edge.
