DescriptionRoundhouse, Barrow Hill - geograph.org.uk - 1593135.jpg
English: Roundhouse, Barrow Hill Class A2 'Peppercorn' 60532 is the sole survivor of fifteen that were built during 1947-1948. The locomotive was withdrawn in 1966. After undergoing restoration twice, the last being in 1991, it suffered severe damage when the driving motion disintegrated during an uncontrolled wheel slip, three years later. It was back to mainline running by 1996, but is now due for restoration once again.
