| Description |
English: Rookabeare House in the parish of Fremington, North Devon. Residence of the Paige family, merchants at nearby Barnstaple. Gilbert I Paige (c.1595-1647) of Barnstaple, and Rookabear House, was twice Mayor of Barnstaple in 1629 and 1641. His Monument survives in St Peter's Church, Barnstaple.
