English: Swedish driver Ronnie Peterson, driving a works March 711 Formula One racing car, approaches Druids Bend at Brands Hatch race circuit, during the 1971 Rothmans World Championship Victory Race. The Victory Race was a non-championship event in October 1971, held after the conclusion of the 1971 World Championship. The race was won by Peter Gethin, driving for BRM, after the race was curtailed at 15 laps after the accident which killed Swiss driver Jo Siffert. Peterson finished down in 16th place, after having to stop for repairs due to a collision.
