Sobre las rocas húmedas, la espuma de la rompiente de la ola que se retira. Fondo de oleaje muy fuerte sobre el que vuelan a la izquierda dos gaviotas. Cielo muy cerrado con nubes borrascosas (Gutiérrez Márquez, A., Carlos de Haes en el Museo del Prado 1826-1898, Madrid, 2002).
