Summary

Description A late 1st-century AD Roman legion. The strength at this time had risen to about 5,500 men divided into 10 cohorts. The first cohort (leftmost) had 5 centuries of about 160 men each. The other cohorts had 6 centuries of about 80 men each. There were also about 120 horsemen attached to each legion.
