This car was originally introduced in 1946 as the Bentley Mark VI. The Rolls Royce branded version appeared only in 1949 and fewer than 1,000 were produced. The one depicted here is one of the earlier cars: later ones had a slightly longer tail and a corresponding increase in luggage capacity.
