English: Rodborough Common, near Stroud. There are several of these depressions in this part of the Common. They aren't marked on the maps and I don't know what they are or how they came to exist. The common itself it 'unimproved limestone grassland' which may provide a clue. On the skyline is Rodborough Fort 801624
