Summary

Description
Eesti: Rodamiin on teaduses laialdaselt kasutatav fluorestseeruv värvaine. Rodamiini vesilahuse loomulik värvus on küll punakasroosa, kuid paremalt langev tugev valgus ergastab rodamiini molekule ning tekkiva fluorestsentskiirguse spektri maksimum paikneb kollakasoranži värvuse piirkonnas. Lisaks tasub tähele panna niitjaid struktuure, mis tekivad erinevate tihedustega vedelike segunemisel (Rayleigh–Taylori ebastabiilsus), niisuguseid struktuure on täheldatud ka näiteks supernoovade jäänukites.
