English: Giant squid (Architeuthis dux); the specimen is about 3.15m long including tentacles, plus two 7 m long tentacles for catching prey. Caught on January 3 2002 160km away from the Hebrides. Photo in the National Marine Aquarium, Plymouth, GB
Deutsch: Riesenkalmar (Architeuthis dux); Dieses Exemplar ist 3,15 m lang (Körper und Arme) und hatte noch zwei etwa 7 m lange Fangarme. Er wurde am 3. Januar 2002 160km vor den Hebriden gefangen. (aufgenommen im National Marine Aquarium, Plymouth, GB)
