Summary

Description
English: These are example of ridges that are common in some parts of Mars. We do not know the exact cause at this point in time. They may be from fluids depositing hard minerals in cracks. And then when erosion removed surrounding material, the ridges remained. This image was name HiRISE image of the day for March 29, 2024.
