English: War hero Richmond Pearson Hobson leading an anti-narcotics movement in 1923. Inscription reads: "FAMOUS HERO IN NARCOTIC FIGHT: hero of the Spanish American war, is now leader in a world war on dope. As president of the International Narcotic-Education association, with headquarters in Los Angeles; Captain Hobson plans to eradicate the dope traffic by educating the people and particularly the children of this and other countries as to perils of dope"
