Description

Panorama of Richmond, Virginia, in 1865, following its fall in the American Civil War. Compiled from seven different stereoscopic images taken from the south end of the Mayo Bridge, in Manchester, looking north, by a photographer from Mathew Brady's outfit.

It was digitally assembled in October 2011, and was rendered using a cylindrical projection.
