  • Present - (L-R): Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, Los Angeles County Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky, CalEMA Deputy State Coordinating Officer Tom Maruyama, FEMA Federal Coordinating Officer Mark Neveau, and Los Angeles Councilmember Richard Alarcon.
  • Attending a press conference announcing FEMA and CalEMA will be funding a $1.6 million dollar grant towards debris removal at the Oakridge Mobile Home Park in Sylmar, California. The park lost 500 of its 600 homes to the Station Fire (wildfire) in November 2008.
