Summary

Description (Size 320x98px, scale 10px = 1 mm)
English: The military ribbon bar of the British Empire Medal (BEM), 32 millimetres wide with a 2 mm wide pearl-grey band and a 13 mm wide rose-pink band, repeated in reverse order and separated by a 2 mm wide pearl-grey band. The civil version is the same, but without the centre band. Rose-pink was used to colour the territories of the British Empire on contemporary world maps.
