File:Rhino-mask.jpg
Original file (612 × 787 pixels, file size: 79 KB, MIME type: image/jpeg)
This artwork is a design for a mask, created by innovati. It was inspired to demonstrate conformism in a way similar to that of Ionesco. In his play Rhinoceros, Ionesco parallels the rise of fascism to a disease in which one by one the towns inhabitants transform into rhinoceri. This mask was intended to be distributed in large quantities to the complete audience for the full effect. The object of a mask was chosen because of its de-humanising effect by obscuring individuality and humanity.
