Description
English: This is a water colour sketch made by Rev. John Swete of a prehistoric urn discovered in a barrow on Haldon Hill, Exeter following an excavation carried out in 1780. The urn is 13 inches high, 10 in diameter at the mouth and 5 at the bottom and made of unbaked clay, smoked, and discoloured by exposure to fire.
