The 19th MCT, a small squadron of Air Force surface movement controllers and aerial porters, have the herculean task of overseeing the vast majority of retrograde operations at FOB Salerno. Hall, a Smith Valley, Nev. native is forward deployed from Travis Air Force Base, Calif.
