DescriptionRestoration of the Steelworks General Offices - geograph.org.uk - 755962.jpg
English: Restoration of the Steelworks General Offices The offices of the Ebbw Vale Iron and Steel Company were erected in 1915-16 but the onset of war resulted in only half the building being completed. The first ironworks was established Ebbw Vale in 1786 and the currently tinplate and galvanising works closed in 2005 (?). The General Offices are undergoing a complete restoration and will be opened as a Visitor Centre for the regeneration of the steelworks site and a genealogy centre.
