English: Restaurant Kuappi in Iisalmi, Finland, is the smallest restaurant in the world. In 1994 this was documented by the Guinness World Records. In picture the second seat of the total two customer seats inside this restaurant. Weather permitting, restaurant might also open two seats outside (terrace). Originally this building was constructed 1907 as a cabin for railway guard, and has later been moved to its present location. The name of the restaurant humorously refers to its small size, as Kuappi means standing closet in the Savo dialect.
Suomi: Ravintola Kuappi on maailman pienin ravintola. Vuonna 1994 se kirjattiin Guinness World Records -ennätykseksi. Kuvassa näkyy ravintolan toinen istumapaikka (kuvaaja on sillä toisella). Sään salliessa terassille voidaan avata kaksi asiakaspaikkaa. Rakennus oli rakennettu vuonna 1907 radanvartijan mökiksi ja siirretty myöhemmin nykypaikalleen satamapuistoon.
