Renneval (Aisne, France) -
L'église Notre-Dame.
Photo prise depuis le haut du talus (et la clôture qui délimite la pâture) surplombant la rue.
La vue sous cet angle a priori peu "photogénique" de l'église fortifiée, en arrivant dans le village par le Nord - depuis l'angle de la route de Dagny-Lambercy (D 611) et celle de Vigneux-Hocquet (D 110) - permet d'imaginer encore un peu le paysage de bocage verdoyant dont la structure par talus et haies entourant l'édifice contribuait à sa défense.
On remarque l'une des 2 tourelles d'angle du choeur dont la partie supérieure est occupée, à l'étage, par la "chambre fortifiée" dont on aperçoit 2 meurtrières sur cette face.
