DescriptionRemains of wall, Lihou - geograph.ci - 138.jpg
English: Remains of wall, Lihou. From the western edge of the island, looking across it. Further along the line of the wall are the remains of an C11 priory taken down on the orders of the Governor of Guernsey in the C18 in case it was occupied by the French. The farmhouse, in WV2478, was built in the 1960s. On the mainland is Fort Sausmarez, an C18 Martello tower capped by a German concrete battery.
