Summary

Description
English: A religious cave in Dakshinkali Municipality Ward No. 5 of Kathmandu District. This cave is located on the right side of the ancient temple of Pharping Shesh Narayan. Although there is a cave inside, which looks like a temple from the outside, you have to enter the cave through a small door. Hindus call it the cave where Rishi Vashishta did penance. Where Rishi Vasishta has also written "The Epic of Solitude". Buddhists also call this cave the cave where Buddhist guru Padmasambhava did penance. This is the reason many monasteries and stupas can be seen in Dakshinkali region. This place is also a pilgrimage site for Hindus and Buddhists.
