Description
English: Boatswain's Mate First Class Reinhardt J. Keppler, USN. Keppler was awarded the Medal of Honor, posthumously, for heroism while serving in USS San Francisco (CA-38) during the Naval Battle of Guadalcanal, 12–13 November 1942.
This image is a retouched version of that seen in Photo #: NH 85185.
