Description
English: Refectory pulpit, Shrewsbury Abbey Separated from the Abbey Church in the background by busy Abbey Foregate, this relic of the abbey refectory is built from pale stone, in contrast to the red sandstone of the church. Mixture of the two stones is notable in other buildings in the town, notably St Mary's.
