Description
English: The Red Hill Underground Fuel Storage Facility was dedicated a National Historic Engineering Landmark in 1995. The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) designation celebrates the achievements of engineers of earlier times. It is bestowed upon sites that are at least 50 years old and of singular significance in the field of civil engineering. The Red Hill Underground Fuel Storage Facility is one of 177 ASCE engineering landmarks throughout the world.
