DescriptionRed Hill lock - geograph.org.uk - 687348.jpg
English: Red Hill lock These are the top gates. Because of high water levels, the lock had all its gates open. The position of the bridge in the middle of the lock is unusual but makes sense because the tail of the lock is no lower; the arch therefore spans the narrowest part of the canal.
