DescriptionRear of a clock face - geograph.org.uk - 407777.jpg
English: Rear of a clock face The view from the other side is rather more famous. This is the rear of the west facing clock faces on the clock tower at the Palace of Westminster. Numbers 8 (VIII) & 9 (IX) are nearest the camera. Going to the middle of the clock face is the mechanism to move the hands. On the wall on the left can be seen the bulbs to provide the illumination.
