The Old Aylesbury Bank was founded in 1795. The Bucks and Oxon Union Bank was formed in 1853 as a merger (and this building dates from then). Lloyds Bank acquired the bank in 1902.

Lloyds merged with TSB to form Lloyds TSB in 1995.
