DescriptionRate of exposure to sexual offences unchanged 2005-2013.svg
English: Total number of sex crimes reported in Sweden, and number of reported rape cases vs. percentage of respondents exposed to sexual offences (including rape) in annual victim survey. The rate of exposure to sexual offences have remained relatively unchanged, despite an increase in the number of crime reports. This is largely due to reforms in sex crime legislation 2005, widening of the definition of rape, and an effort by the Swedish police to decrease the number of unreported cases.
