Trinkschale aus Silber, vergoldet, nach 1300. Auf der Bodenrückseite, auf einem angeklebten runden Papier, in einer Schrift des 18. Jh. steht die Notiz: «Trinkgeschier der Gravin Elisabethae von Rappersweyl, so die letzte ihres geschlechts und Rudolphi gravens von Habsburg so Anno 1273 gestorben, gemahlin wahr. Diess Schalerl hat Herr Graf Frantz Ehrenreich von Trautmannsatorff, Kaysers Leopoldi gehaimer Rat und Botschafter in der Schweiz, in dem Benedictiner-Kloster zu Baden gefunden und an sich erhandelt und als eine antiquitet Ihrer Kayln. Maj. verehret Anno 1703.» Die Trinkschale ist im Besitz des Kunsthistorischen Museums Wien, welches der Ortsgemeinde Rapperswil die Bewilligung zur Anfertigung einer originalgetreuen Kopie erteilte. |
