taken from The Breakfast Club Family Album (1942). The 96 page album was one of an annual series of premiums distributed to listeners and stations to promote the series. Transferred from en.wikipedia to Commons by Quadell using CommonsHelper.
See file's talk page-other Breakfast Club annuals were copyrighted to Don McNeill Enterprises.
Because of this discovery, a copyright search was done for pamphlets and periodicals for the years 1969 and 1970. The search focused on "Don McNelll", "McNeill", and "Breakfast Club". There were no results in the given time frame for anything which would pertain to the annual this photo came from, so there's no reason to believe there continues to be a claim on this material.
Note that it may still be copyrighted in jurisdictions that do not apply the rule of the shorter term for US works (depending on the date of the author's death), such as Canada (70 years p.m.a.), Mainland China (50 years p.m.a., not Hong Kong or Macao), Germany (70 years p.m.a.), Mexico (100 years p.m.a.), Switzerland (70 years p.m.a.), and other countries with individual treaties.
