English: AT ONE TIME WAS ONE OF THE LARGEST AND MOST ADVANCED SILK MILLS IN THE WORLD. STARTED BY ROBERT & HERMAN SIMON IN 1883 ALONG THE BUSHKILL CREEK. IT LATER WAS BOUGHT BY ONONDAGA SILK COMPANY WHO RAN IT ALSO AS A SILK MILL UNTIL 1981 WHEN IT CLOSED. IT IS NOW TO BE CONVERTED INTO APARTMENTS, SHOPS, BOUTIQUES, AND OTHER RECREATIONAL PURPOSES |
