Descrierea stemei:

Stema oraşului Sulina se compune dintr-un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite. În câmp de azur se află un far de argint, însoţit în dreapta de o timonă şi în stânga de un soare, de aur. În vârful scutului sunt amplasate două fascii undate, negre, cu marginile de argint. Scutul este trimbrat de o coroană murală de argint, cu trei turnuri crenelate.

Semnificaţia elementelor însumate:

Farul este simbolul oraşului Sulina, axat pe activitatea maritimă patronată de Comisia Europeană a Dunării. Timona simbolizează activitatea portuară din zonă, iar soarele face trimitere la poziţia oraşului, care este cea mai estică localitate din România. Fasciile undate reprezintă braţul Sulina, unul dintre braţele navigabile ale fluviului Dunărea.

Coroana murală cu trei turnuri crenelate semnifică faptul că localitatea are rangul de oraş.

Therefore this image is assumed to be in the public domain worldwide, although some of the above categories may be subject to usage restrictions within Romania.
