Description
English: Coat of arms of Bistra commune, according to annex no. 1.1, consists of a triangular shield with rounded edges, cut by a wavy silver belt. In the upper part, on a blue background, there is an eagle with a golden cross in its beak. In the lower part, on a red background, there is a fir tree and its roots, in gold. The shield is surmounted by a silver mural crown with a crenellated tower. The meanings of the elements: The eagle with the cross in its beak is a component element of the coat of arms of the Petru Pavel Aron de Bistra family. The wavy belt signifies the Aries river that runs through the town. The fir tree symbolizes the forest wealth of the area. The mural crown with a crenellated tower signifies the fact that the locality has the status of a commune.
Română: Stema comunei Bistra, potrivit anexei nr. 1.1, se compune dintr-un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, tăiat de un brâu undat de argint. În partea superioară, pe fond albastru, se află un vultur cu crucea în cioc, de aur. În partea inferioară, pe fond rosu, se află un brad cu rădăcină, de aur. Scutul este trimbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat. Semnificatiile elementelor însumate: Vulturul cu crucea în cioc reprezintă un element component din blazonul familiei Petru Pavel Aron de Bistra. Brâul undat semnifică râul Aries care străbate localitatea. Bradul simbolizează bogătia silvică a zonei. Coroana murală cu un turn crenelat semnifică faptul că localitatea are rangul de comună.
