English: This is a picture of the official opening of No. 4 WS on Saturday, 9 August 1941 at 10:45 a.m. It must have been taken from the roof of Massey Hall or some other nearby building. The security fence is seen, as are the "hundreds of guests" on the bleachers in front of Johnston Hall. Johnston Hall was the Administration or Headquarters building for Royal Canadian Air Force No. 4 Wireless School, Guelph, Ontario, Canada. Building number 8 on the RCAF site plan.
