Summary

Description
English: This is Brantford Airport from circuit height, say 330 metres above ground level, looking east heading 080 degrees true. The road at the right of the frame is Brant County Highway 53 (Colborne Street West). The City of Brantford is located 2 kilometers east and south of the airfield. The Grand River can be seen close by the airfield to the northeast, at the left side of the frame. The original runway and apron configuration from November, 1940 is intact, with the exception of runway 05-23 which was lengthened to 1,535 meters after the war. The interior parallel runways are not maintained and should not be used. This photograph was taken in a Cessna 172 CF-BSL, owned by the Brantford Flying Club. Pilot-in-command Tristan Fisher.
