Summary

Description
English: Quy Station
This neat clapboarded building, now the offices of an architect, was once Quy Station, on the Cambridge-Fordham-Mildenhall branch line. The last passengers alighted at the single platform on the other side of this building in 1962 and the line closed to goods trains two years later. Perhaps only the more committed type of railway enthusiast will have noted the characteristic Great Eastern Railway cast-iron fence posts before reading this sentence.... For more angles, see TL5161 : The site of Quy Station and TL5161 : Quy Station platform and former waiting rooms.
