Description
English: Japanese embroidered folding screen, 1800-1900. Wood, lacquer, silk thread, leather, gilt brass, watercolour, paper, mother-of-pearl, copper alloy. Given to King Edward VII by the Emperor Meiji for his coronation, 1902. From the Royal Collection. Displayed in an exhibition at the Queen's Gallery 2023.
