Description
English: Photograph of the marketplace in Pyetrykaw, Belarus in 1912. Taken on an ethnological-photographic tour organized by the Imperial Russian Geographical Society (Імператарскае Расійскае геа­графічнае таварыства). Published in the "Memoirs of Northwest Division of the Imperial Russian Geographical Society" report Serbava "Trip to Polesie summer 1912" (“Записках Северо-Западного отдела Императорского Русского географического общества” справаздачы Сербава “Поездка по Полесью летом 1912 года”) The tour was led by Ісак Сербаў Issac Serbs (1871-1943). Originals are stored at the Library at the University of Vilnius, Lithuania. Republished by the newspaper Gomelskaya Pravda on 22 June 2012, at http://gp.by/section/culture/41086.html
