Summary

Description
English: Public Library, High Street Originally a school built in 1843 and funded by Quaker businessmen of Great Ayton, notably Thomas Richardson. It was known as the Ayton British School and had approximately 100 pupils between the ages of 5 and 14. The building has been a library since 1971.
