Scanian flag represents all territory that was Danish but now is Swedish. The provinces Scania, Blekinge and Halland. (If the still Danish island Bornholm also is ment to be included is not quite clear) Whithin Swedish territories (as of 2013) the flag is in common use, by private persons or, as in this example, connected to commercial interests (a cafeteria and bed & breakfast by a road) - in Scania. It can also be seen in Blekinge, but is rare in Halland. To some people, from mid- and northern Sweden the Scanian flag might be offensive. Supporters of Scanian football clubs like Malmö FF, Helsingborgs IF and Landskrona BoIS often uses the Scanian flag instead of the Swedish
