English: Fossils of Protosphyraena, an pachycormiform fish from the Niobrara Formation of Kansas. Picture taken at the Sternberg Museum of Natural History.
  • Background: Large pectoral girdle (FHSM VP-80) of Protosphyraena perniciosa from the Smoky Hill Chalk of Trego County.
  • Foreground: Full body reconstruction, pectoral fin (from Gove County) and skull (FHSM VP-81) of Protosphyraena sp. from Ellis County.
